Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-18 · effective September 18, 2026
These terms govern your use of Hedgebook, which is operated by Archetyp Mobility LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account, or by accepting them when asked, you confirm that you have read them and agree to be bound by them.
1. What Hedgebook is
Hedgebook is an analytics tool. It reconstructs gamma exposure profiles
for a fixed set of listed products from publicly available option chain
data, and presents them as charts and figures. It is a way of looking at
published market data, and nothing more than that.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing Hedgebook produces is investment, financial, legal or tax advice,
and nothing in it is a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or
sell any security or derivative. We are not a broker-dealer, an
investment adviser, or a fiduciary, and no part of your use of the
service creates an adviser relationship of any kind.
Every decision you make with this data is yours alone, and you bear its
entire consequence.
Options carry substantial risk and can lose more than their cost. If you
need advice, get it from someone licensed to give it.
3. About the data
You should understand what you are looking at before you rely on it:
- Option chain data is delayed, not real time, and comes from a third-party public source we do not control and cannot guarantee.
- Open interest is published once daily and settles overnight, so it cannot reflect positions opened during the current session.
- Gamma exposure is computed, not quoted. It rests on an assumed dealer sign convention — that dealers are long calls and short puts — which is a modeling convention, not a measurement of anyone's actual book.
- Figures derived from these inputs, including gamma flip levels and price profiles, inherit every one of their limitations.
4. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including
keeping your password and any sign-in links confidential — a sign-in link
signs in whoever holds it. Provide an email address you actually control.
Accounts are personal: you may not share credentials, and the number of
devices signed in at once is limited. Tell us promptly if you believe
your account has been used without your permission.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Hedgebook for your own analysis, personal or commercial. You
may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the data or charts as a product or feed of your own;
- scrape or bulk-extract the service, or access it by automated means beyond any API we provide you;
- share, resell or pool account access, or circumvent access controls, session limits or billing;
- attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
6. Access, fees and changes
Access tiers, including complimentary access granted at our discretion,
may be changed, suspended or withdrawn. Where access is paid, fees and
billing intervals are those shown at the time you subscribe, charged
through our payment processor; you authorize those recurring charges
until you cancel. A new subscription may begin with a free trial, offered
once per account. A payment card is required to start it, and unless you
cancel before the trial ends, that card is charged the subscription fee
when the trial ends and at the start of each billing period after. If a
payment fails, access is suspended until the payment succeeds.
Canceling stops future charges and leaves access in
place until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires
otherwise, payments already made are not refundable. This is early
software under active development: features may change or be removed,
and the service may be unavailable at times, including without notice.
7. Ownership
The service, its software, interface and presentation remain ours.
Accepting these terms grants you a personal, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable license to use Hedgebook while your account
is in good standing, and nothing more. Underlying market data belongs to
its own sources and is subject to their terms.
8. No warranty
The service is provided as is
and as available, without warranty of any
kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or
non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted,
timely, secure or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading
or investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your
use of, or inability to use, the service — whatever the theory of
liability and even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total
liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater
of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty
US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these exclusions,
in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
10. Termination
You may stop using Hedgebook at any time, and ask us to delete your account
by writing to the address below. We may
suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for non-payment,
or where we reasonably need to. Sections 2, 3, 7 through 11, and 13 survive
termination.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The version and effective date at the top of
this page change when we do, and continuing to use the service after a
revision means accepting it. Where a change is material, we will ask you
to accept the new version rather than assume it.
12. Privacy
What we collect about you, why, and who processes it on our behalf is set
out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard
to its conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts located in
Connecticut have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
